2018 SPRING WORK PARTY   SIGN UP BY CLICKING THIS LINK

This is  the 2018 opening work party for LFGC.  We will be undertaking the following tasks:

• Leaf Blowing: We will clear all the leaves away from the clubhouse, Generator Shed, Around the pond area, and the picnic area. Using leafblowers we'll blow the leaves into he woods. or drag them away with tarps, dumping them in the woods.
• Raking: We will be repairing the areas where some members have driven and rutted up, even after we asked them not to. We will be repairing any residual damage from the snowplowing, if any.
• Range Clean-up: We'll be cleaning up the 25 and 50 Utility ranges. Typically, with about 15-20 people this gets done in about 10-15 minutes.
• General Clean-up: (As needed) The larger the work party the quicker this takes place. in the past, we've begun at 9:00 and were finished by 10-30-11:00 AM.
• Other: Looking for volunteers at the work party to clean up the grill, fire it up and ensure it is working properly.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Rakes (both Iron rakes and Leaf rakes)
• Leaf Blowers
• Gloves
• Water (or other beverage, please, no Scotch).

PLEASE arrive by 8:45 am so we can have a quick Safety Briefing. We are using eventbrite to manage this event so that a work party credit roster may be created. PLEASE DON'T SKIP IT.  NOTE: Work Parties are only open to active club members, due to liability and insurance considerations.
